Investment in the Future of the Tool Shop

Our tool shop has expanded with a new high-speed milling center Röders RXP501DS equipped with an RCS1 pallet changer. This state-of-the-art technology will significantly enhance the precision, efficiency, and flexibility of our electrode production. The acquisition was made as part of the Energy Savings II grant program.

5-axis machining enables complex processing in a single setup, which increases both the quality and efficiency of production. Additionally, the milling machine is equipped with an advanced control system and meets demanding standards for precision and surface quality — a key requirement in electrode manufacturing.

The installation of the new machine went smoothly — thanks largely to the professional approach of both our internal team and the partner company involved.

The original machining center was an outdated, energy-intensive piece of equipment. Compared to today's modern technologies, significant energy savings can be achieved primarily through such replacements.

We see the acquisition of the Röders RXP501DS milling machine with RCS1 pallet changer as a strategic move that will allow us to optimize production processes, shorten delivery times, and strengthen our competitiveness. We believe this investment will bring long-term benefits not only to the tool shop, but to the entire production operation.
